The vast majority of all the physical pain that humans feel are caused by trapped emotions. That was the contention made by holistic chiropractor and book author Dr. Bradley Nelson during his appearance in a recent episode of “The Robert Scott Bell Show” on Brighteon.TV.
“We know now that our trapped emotions cause 90 percent of all the physical pain that people have. And that sounds impossible, maybe, but I’m telling you, it’s absolutely true. Ninety percent of all the physical pain, the migraine headaches, the low back pain, the knee pain, the neck pain, the elbow pain. It’s all about emotional baggage almost all – nine out of 10 times is just emotional baggage. You take away that baggage, and that pain can just vanish away,” Nelson told host Robert Scott Bell.
Nelson, one of the world’s foremost experts in the emerging fields of Bioenergetic Medicine and Energy Psychology, pointed out that every disease process has an emotional component to it.
He cited as an example a woman who was suffering chest pain, breathing difficulty and numbness on the left side of her face and left arm. He found out after testing her that she had some emotional baggage or a trapped emotion that is causing her grief.
After releasing the trapped emotional energy from her body, Nelson said the numbness on her face and arm, the chest pain and difficulty breathing all went away.
Bell mentioned that people may have forgotten traumatic emotional experiences, but those can still be significantly alter their worldview. Nelson agreed, adding that overcoming emotional trauma without having to relive it is possible.
The method that Nelson is using is fast, simple and easy. He said anybody can learn how to do it, including children. “And that’s one of the really beautiful things about this. It’s part of what makes it simple. To understand how it works you have to understand that the body itself is really just energy,” Nelson said.
“That’s who you are, that’s who we are, we are beings of pure energy. So when you’re feeling an emotion, especially if it’s being felt very powerfully, what you’re feeling is a certain frequency of vibration.”
He continued: “And so anger is a different frequency than sadness. And that’s different from grief and so on. And so sometimes what happens is if that emotion is too powerful, the energy of that emotion can become trapped in the body.”
According to Nelson, the energy of an emotional trauma that occurred in the past remains with a person and becomes a trapped emotion that can affect their lives.
A trapped emotion in the body is like a little ball of emotional energy that continually exerts a distorting force on the energy field of the body. Nelson said this interferes with the chemical reactions in a particular part of the body, affecting the blood flow, the lymph flow and the flow of acupuncture energy.
The best-selling author of the book “The Emotion Code” said everyone has experienced emotional episodes in their lives. He noted that this emotional baggage could haunt a person in ways he or she might not even realize. (Related: The physical effects of emotional baggage.)
Nelson explained that emotions are messages coming from the deep subconscious based on what people experienced in the past and the emotional energy that they have stored in their bodies. He also mentioned that the last chapter in his book is all about “choosing a little more wisely and trying to avoid developing new trapped emotions in the future.”
Getting rid of the emotional baggage is so freeing that people often feel lighter when an emotional baggage is released, Nelson said. He added that depression, phobias, anxieties, panic attacks, self-sabotage, eating disorders, body pains, among others, go away when people deal with emotions the right way.
