A closer look at the idiot bureaucrat who put INFECTED coronavirus patients on the same plane as U.S. evacuees from the Diamond Princess

Ian Brownlee, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of Consular Affairs, may have just unleashed the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) on America by blatantly defying orders issued by President Trump to disallow Americans with the disease from flying back to the United States from Japan.

Rather than obey our Commander-in-Chief in the interest of public safety, Brownlee decided to load these people up on a plane anyway and ship them back to the country because “this was an emerging and unusual circumstance,” he’s quoted as saying in his defense.

“We had 328 people on buses, a plan to execute and we received lab results on people who were otherwise asymptomatic, un-ill people on a bus on the way to the airport,” Brownlee is quoted as saying. “The people on the ground did exactly the right thing … in bringing them home.”

Those who tested positive were reportedly put into special isolation units on board two different cargo planes before being hauled off to either Lackland Air Base in Texas or Travis Air Base in Northern California. These units, officials claim, were perfectly safe and “every precaution,” reports indicate, was taken to ensure that everyone was safe.

But the problem is that President Trump said no-go, and Brownlee went ahead and flouted him by giving the go anyway – a major breach of command. And if the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) ends up spreading because of this, then Brownlee will have blood on his hands.

“Another Deep State employee thinks he’s right and the President is wrong,” writes Joe Hoft for The Gateway Pundit. “This guy, who worked for the State Department in Mexico for years, thought it was important to send individuals sick with the coronavirus back to the U.S. where they could risk getting others sick.”

“His decision may cost American lives,” Hoft adds.

Ian Brownlee defied a presidential order – does that make him a traitor?

So, who is this Ian Brownlee character, exactly? According to the Department of State website, he became the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs about a year ago, and before that served as an Inspector in the Office of the Inspector General.

Brownlee’s previous experience includes serving as the Minister Counselor for Consular and Consulate Affairs in Mexico, where his job duties included coordinating consular affairs across Mission Mexico’s nine consulates general and the embassy.

Before that, Brownlee was Director of the State Department’s Office of Central American Affairs, where he was tasked with implementing the U.S. Strategy for Engagement in Central America. Between the years of 2012-2015, Brownlee functioned as Principal Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Prior to all of this, Brownlee held multiple positions in Mexico, Honduras, and Costa Rica, as well as in Mexico and Chile. And all of them involved handling affairs both within these countries as well as between them and the United States, meaning he was in charge of various aspects of U.S. foreign relations.

“If this goes beyond containment, hang him for the traitor that he is,” wrote one commenter at The Gateway Pundit. “He disobeyed a direct order from the CDC and his president.”

“Potentially, yes he has – he’s endangered tens of millions of lives through one petulant, soiled-brat-like act,” wrote another.

“In his world, direct orders are to be obeyed only if you feel like it,” wrote yet another. “I say fire [him] immediately, then arrest him for willful endangerment of people’s lives and waste of government resources.”
