More than 96 percent of all animals killed in the United States are used for food. Most of those animals are shot up with hormones and antibiotics while suffering from consuming only genetically modified “feed.” The meat, egg and dairy industries are infested with antibiotic-resistant bacteria and genetically modified virus strains that have no anecdotal mainstream medicine or vaccine, and it’s getting worse every year.
From chain stores to fast food joints and on down to cheap supermarket butchers, the animals carcasses are bleached, smoked, and treated with ammonia to kill the sickness, and then comes the added flavor, including MSG, nitrates and artificial dyes.
According to the USDA’s National Agriculture Statistics Survey (NASS), the mass genocide of animals in this country is due to the American penchant for … wait for it… chicken. And that’s to the tune of 9 billion chickens every year, at least a billion of which die from stress-induced disease or injury before they even make it to slaughter. Let that sink in for a minute.
Remember, you “are” what you eat. Are you eating salmonella and E. coli? Is there pus in your milk from infected udders? Watch for those food recalls that happen more and more often now. Keep reading.
Yes, Americans eat 10 billion animals per year (and that stat is actually a decade old). Including fish, most Americans will chew up and suck down nearly 3,000 animals in their most likely shortened lifespan (about 75 years young, if they’re lucky). What’s your poison? Bacon cheese burgers? Hot dogs wrapped in bacon? We already know your staple food is chicken, just take a look at the slaughter stats.
Yet chickens suffer horrific deaths in factory farm prison, and these are slow, agonizing deaths, as their little bodies break down from malnutrition, disease, injury, and even slow suffocation. Bet you didn’t know that millions of male chicks are ground up while alive and others discarded while alive in plastic garbage bags found in hatchery dumpsters by inspectors, investigative reporters, whistle-blowers and undercover journalists.
Do you consider yourself an activist? You don’t have to go out and rescue animals or run an organization to be one, you know. The Animal Liberation Front has already produced over 30 pages of tips and strategies for activists to make a difference in this factory farming world. Check into some honest literature that exposes the truth. It may help you plan how you can stop eating toxic meat and carcinogenic dairy products. You may stop eating eggs all together and feel amazing. Every little bit matters, so don’t let the CAFO pushers tell you otherwise.
Videos of CAFOs may be hard to look at, but they’re impossible to ignore, once you do. Know what America is really doing to the animals (and their by-products) that you and your kids consume. Preventable diseases like cancer, diabetes 2, heart disease and dementia can be addressed with a plant-based food regimen – the lifestyle with unlimited rewards, including longevity.
Are you “living fast and dying young” because you eat deadly meat every day? Watch this:
Most American food animals are fed genetically modified corn and soy, that contains deadly pesticides that cause disease and disorder. Now, 75 percent of all antibiotics are used to treat these sick animals, and that’s why most antibiotics are useless now for humans, and we just keep consuming the meat, eggs and dairy without giving it a second thought. Just GOT to have that chicken. People act like they can’t live without their chicken. That usually goes for bacon and cheese too.
The Earth is getting overwhelmed by meat production, including all the genetically modified crop fields, laden with chemical pesticides. As this trend continues, meat production will double by the year 2050. The meat and dairy industries are broken and polluted with parasites, just like the medical industrial complex.
