The major players of “Bureaucratic Medicine”

Hippocrates, the famous 4th century father of modern medicine, famously said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Early medical pioneers like Hippocrates understood that you are what you eat, that exercise makes for a healthy mind and healthy body, that disease can both be prevented and beaten, and that the primary job of the physician is to do as much good as possible without doing any harm.

It would be a mistake, however, to believe that modern medicine has followed closely in the footsteps of great men like Hippocrates. The modern medical complex is nothing more than a multitude of bureaucracies established to control the distribution of medication and ensure a steady supply of sickly people to purchase such medications, with little to no effort made to educate people about preventing disease.

As noted by Waking Times, the entire medical community is focused, not on curing disease, but on creating burdensome rules and manufacturing expensive medications to treat symptoms rather than the root causes of illness.

A pyramid of medical bureaucracies

At the very top of the medical bureaucracy pyramid sits the organization with the self-appointed task of identifying disease – but not attempting to cure it – the World Health Organization (WHO). The concept of disease prevention through the correct lifestyle choices has no place in the WHO; their sole focus is on vaccinations and medications.

The next level down on the pyramid – at least in the United States – is the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Waking Times reported:

Brighteon.TV

The FDA is the official approval bureaucratic agency that approves drugs in the USA. According to the US/FDA bureaucracy, only a drug can “claim to” prevent, treat, or cure any disease.  It’s perfect bureaucratic nonsense – extended to the extreme. Even more than the extreme. The FDA does not limit the bureaucratic definition of a drug to a medical pill – any treatment that claims to prevent, treat, or cure a disease, is officially a “drug.”

Though it is obvious to any thinking individual that many diseases can be prevented or treated through simple nutrition, the FDA makes no such acknowledgement. Preventing scurvy or malnutrition through the correct diet is not medicine according to the FDA. Neither is preventing disease by avoiding poisons like carbon monoxide or pesticides in the environment. As far as the FDA is concerned, if it isn’t treated with a pill, it isn’t a disease.

On the other hand, the FDA is very quick to regulate natural supplements and medications, insisting that these cannot make “sales claims” or even state that they will produce a specific result.

The FDA allows Big Pharma – the next big level on the medical bureaucracy pyramid – virtually free reign with their dangerous chemical medications, almost all of which carry serious side effects. It’s not as if these medications promise to cure diseases, either; they are almost always aimed at limiting the effects of the symptoms of disease, all while causing even more symptoms through their side effects.

The line between organizations like the WHO, the FDA and Big Pharma have become increasingly blurred over the years, as people move between jobs in all three sectors and everybody works to avoid burning industry bridges.

Natural News previously reported:

The same FDA officials who approve the drugs are responsible for monitoring them after they are on the market, which gives them an obvious disincentive to say that the drugs they earlier certified as safe were now unsafe. Finally, the FDA gets input from outside advisory panels made up of doctors who are experts in their fields. …

Most of these doctors receive payments as consultants, research grants, and support for travel to conferences from drug companies. In some cases, the doctors are working as paid consultants to the same companies whose drugs are coming up for approval by their advisory committees.

The pyramid of modern medical bureaucracies is aimed at nothing more than protecting the bottom line of pharmaceutical companies and curtailing the health freedoms of individuals. Certainly, it has deviated sharply from the path set forth by visionaries like Hippocrates.
