Michael Tamez lost 100 pounds, cured his own obstructive sleep apnea and extended his own life immeasurably.
He’s kept the weight off for 13 years.
Which fad diet, guru-advice or get thin quick scheme did he follow?
You guessed it. NONE of them. Tamez seems to understand that long-term weight loss and optimal health go with a total lifestyle transformation, which is what he achieved.
Burdened with grave warnings from his doctor that he was a prime candidate for a heart attack, Tamez resolved to get healthy once and for all.
Eliminated soda and sugar-laden drinks. (At one point he was drinking up to two liters of soda per day).
Gave up all fast food.
Eliminated fried foods from his diet.
Started eating healthy salads and sandwiches.
Began exercising regularly: boxing, cycling, hiking.
And he has KEPT IT UP for 13 years.
In the meantime, he wrote a book, and now he spends his days preaching the value of holistic nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. How can you go through such a change, from 245 to 145 pounds, without wanting to tell the world all about it?
